The \"Ren\" from Renshaw and the \"thal\" from Rosenthal make up the world famous Renthal brand name, synonymous with the revolution of aluminium handlebars.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1975 the company entered the motocross market, with a full time production facility in Manchester, UK. The very same place where the company resides today. Renthal grew steadily through the 70's and 80's before bursting into the US market in the early 90's.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn October 2000, the Renthal factory was destroyed by a massive fire. What replaced the original factory was a completely new, state of the art manufacturing and design facility. Renthal's 49,000 sq. ft. factory houses a huge and diverse range of production, quality control and R\u0026amp;D machinery and equipment.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2004 Renthal added to its list of records, becoming the first aluminium handlebar to be fitted as original equipment on a Japanese off-road motorcycle. This is possibly one of the highest accolades of quality a company in this industry could receive. Now Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki choose Renthal handlebars for their performance motocross models.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2010, Renthal expanded into the cycle product industry.
